Halloumi Cheese:
Halloumi is unique to Cyprus. This wholesome white cheese is carefully prepared from a blend of sheep, cow and goat's milk, lightly salted and then delicately flavoured with mint in the traditional way known throughout the island for centuries.

The cheese is folded during preparation helping it to retain its characteristic taste. The texture of halloumi is particularly distinctive, as it is semi-hard and flexible, which is one of the reasons Halloumi can be enjoyed in such a large variety of delicious ways.

The cheese is supplied vacuum packed which ensures that the full flavour of the product is maintaned and its freshness is guaranteed. Halloumi must be kept refrigerated and can be stored for relatively long periods of time, if it is kept at a temperature of under -14C.

Although Halloumi is imitated and produced in a number of countries, the only authentic Halloumi comes from Cyprus. It won't taste the same from anywhere else and will not be called Halloumi.
